This area contains important information about the required post types to make it work as intended.

The standard posts are used for the Events page. The name of the event is placed in the post title, then the information about the event such as dates and times is entered as the post body.

The announcements require a custom post type created using the plugin Custom Post Types UI. Creating that post type and entering posts will allow your announcements to scroll in the sidebar if a text widget in added with the appropriate code, which is provided.

The Ministries page also uses Custom Post Types UI. This information probably does not change very often, so it is not something that requires frequent updating. It does not support feature images, but the posts can contain images.
